Job Description
As a Swim Instructor at Hanford Swim Club, you will lead swimming programs and provide customized lessons for children of different ages and skill levels. This position is perfect for students who are passionate about swimming, have strong communication skills, and can motivate young swimmers to respect and enjoy the water. We are currently seeking a motivated Swim Instructor to join our team in Hanford, CA.
Responsibilities
• Provide swim instruction to students of various ages and skill levels
• Create a safe and positive learning environment for all students
• Assess student progress and offer feedback and support as needed
Requirements
• Experience working with students of all ages and abilities, preferably in an educational or instructional setting
• Strong swimming skills and knowledge of different strokes and techniques
• Background in water safety and survival skills
• CPR & First Aid Certified (infant, child & adult)
• Excellent communication, organizational, time management, and creative teaching skills
• Strong behavior management skills to handle challenging situations calmly
• Experience in childcare or sports coaching is beneficial
• Passion for swimming and working with children.
