Join Swim Club of Ridgecrest as a Swim Instructor in China Lake, CA

As a Swim Instructor at Swim Club of Ridgecrest, you will be responsible for leading swimming programs and offering personalized individual and group lessons to children of different ages and skill levels. This role is perfect for students who are enthusiastic about swimming, possess excellent communication skills, and have the ability to motivate young swimmers while teaching them to appreciate and respect the water. We are currently seeking a dedicated and motivated Swim Instructor to join our team and contribute to our Swim Club of Ridgecrest location in China Lake, CA.

Responsibilities
• Provide swim instruction to students of all ages and skill levels
• Ensure a safe and positive learning environment for all students
• Monitor and assess student progress, offering feedback and guidance as necessary

Requirements
• Experience working with students of all ages and abilities, especially in educational or instructional settings
• Strong swimming skills and knowledge of various swim strokes and techniques
• Strong background in water safety and survival skills
• CPR & First Aid Certified (infant, child & adult)
• Excellent communication, organizational, time management, and creative teaching skills
• Strong behavior management skills, capable of handling challenging situations calmly and professionally
• Experience in childcare or sports coaching is a plus, demonstrating an understanding of working with children in a structured environment
• A passion for swimming and working with children
