Job Description
At Pacifica Platypus Swim Club, we are seeking a dedicated Swim Instructor to lead our swimming programs and provide lessons tailored to children of all ages and skill levels. This position is perfect for students who are passionate about swimming and have the ability to inspire young swimmers. Join our team in Pacifica, CA as a Swim Instructor and make a difference in the lives of our students.
Responsibilities
• Provide swim instruction to students of all ages and skill levels
• Ensure a safe and positive learning environment for all students
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and guidance as needed
Requirements
• Experience working with students of all ages and abilities
• Strong swimming skills and knowledge of various strokes
• Background in water safety and survival skills
• CPR & First Aid Certified (infant, child & adult)
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
• Strong behavior management skills
• Experience in childcare or sports coaching beneficial
• Love and passion for swimming and children
