Job Description
As a Swim Instructor at Saint Lawrence Swim Team, you will lead swimming programs, offering personalized lessons to children of different age groups and skill levels. This position is perfect for students who are passionate about swimming, have strong communication skills, and can inspire young swimmers while promoting a love and respect for the water. We are currently seeking a dedicated Swim Instructor to join our team in Santa Clara, CA.
Responsibilities
Provide swim instruction tailored to students of varying ages and abilities
Create a safe and positive learning environment for all participants
Monitor student progress and offer feedback and support as necessary
Requirements
Previous experience working with students in educational or instructional settings
Proficient in various swim strokes and techniques
Knowledgeable in water safety and survival skills
Certified in CPR & First Aid for infants, children, and adults
Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
Effective behavior management abilities to handle challenging situations professionally
Experience in childcare or sports coaching is a plus
Enthusiasm for swimming and working with children.
