Max Frost Releases New Single to Herald Subsequent Debut Album

Max Frost, a rising producer, multi-instrumentalist, singer and songwriter, has announced the release of his newest single and subsequent video, “Good Morning,” according to a recent press release.

“Good Morning” heralds Frost’s debut album, executive produced by Michael “Fitz” Fitzpatrick (better known as the Fitz of Fitz and the Tantrums). The album is due to arrive later this year and was also produced by Mick Schultz (who has previously worked with Rihanna, Jeremih and YG).


The Atlantic recording artist’s latest single follows two, previously released EP’s (“Low High Low” and “Intoxication”) which feature four consecutive singles to hit #1 on HypeMachine’s “Most Popular Tracks on Blogs Now” chart, according to a recent press release.

To say this young artist is rising to the stop would be an understatement, as he has also been named by both NPR and Rolling Stone as one of “10 Artists You Need To Know.”

For college students unfamiliar with the newest musical sensation, Max Frost is known for merging sounds of soul, funk, hip-hop and pop, appealing to fans of multiple genres in a new and unique way.

His 2013 breakthrough single, “White Lies,” resulted in nods from Interview, Billboard, Paste and NPR Music.

In addition, he has earned himself highly sought-after slots in musical festivals including Austin’s ACL Music Festival, Dover and DE’s Firefly Music Festival. His one-man-band performances have also earned him supporting slots with Gary Clark Jr., Fitz and the Tantrums and Honne and their sold-out, headline tours.

You can also catch him in collaborations with DJ Snake (the most recent single, “Broken Summer”) and some upcoming collaborations with Elton John x DJ Mustard and Whethan (due out this Spring).

So if you haven’t heard of him yet, you’re going to be hearing a lot more, not just in musical outlets, but on television as well.

In fact, his music has appeared in commercials including a Beats by Dre commercial and on TV shows including “The Brave” (NBC) and “Power” (Starz).

To top it off, “Good Morning” will soundtrack a major advertising campaign by PepsiCo, according to a recent press release.

The song will advertise bubbly, a new line of flavored, sparkling water from the giant company. This is all to kick off on Sunday, March 4 during the 90th Academy Awards. The commercial will air during this event, live on ABC at 5 p.m. PST (check local listings).
