Welcome Mat. Welcome your guests with this simple outdoor decoration. They welcome mats come in all shapes, sizes, colors, and prices. If you’re feeling creative, you can even make your own! Placing a welcome mat outside of your door shows that you put thought into how your home looks and sets up your guests’ experience. Look through for a cheeky or punny phrase rather than a boring “Welcome” on your mat.

Tiki Torches. Give off an island vibe with tiki torches! Tiki torches are the ultimate summer outdoor decoration. Not only do they light up our outdoor space when you are enjoying a nice summer night, but they also keep those nasty mosquitos away.

Candle Chandelier. Your guests are going to love this outdoor decoration. Whether you have an old chandelier with faulty wiring or you find one at your local flea market, you can reuse it and put it outside. Take out the lightbulbs and replace them with tea light candles. You may have to get small glass candle holders to fill the empty light bulb space. At night as you enjoy a glass of wine, light the candles and create a smooth and romantic ambiance.

Hanging Lights. Not all of your candles need to be on the table (or in a chandelier.) If you have a tall fence, find mason jars and place candles at the bottom. Attach a chain or rope to the top of the mason jar or candle holder and hook it to your fence or wherever you decide to hang your candles from. This simple outdoor decoration will brighten up your space without the harsh light from an outdoor lightbulb.

Garden. The simplest, and most obvious, outdoor decoration is a garden. There are multiple ways to achieve a beautiful garden. It doesn’t have to be large either! If you don’t have the space to make a full garden, plant some flowers in window boxes. Maybe you don’t want to spend time digging up the yard or putting down mulch.
