Bulletin or White Board

Clean up those messy-looking piles of paper that clutter your desk by putting up a bulletin board. Now you can hang up those papers and clear off some desk space. A clean desk can help you become more productive because you’ll spend less time clearing off space to work and more time studying.

A whiteboard is great for keeping notes and dates in front of you. You can write important deadlines for assignments, dates of exams, and to-do lists. This way you will always be on top of your assignments because the dates are in front of you all the time.

Desk Lamp

Brighten up your study space with a desk lamp. There are so many different types of lamps out there that you will be sure to find one that matches your style. Desk lamps are a great staple item when it comes to decorating your study space because not only do they pull the look of your desk together, but they are extremely useful. For those late-night study sessions, a bright light will help you stay focused and make reading much easier. Not to mention, if you have a roommate in the same room, you can still study while they are sleeping.

Pencil Holder

As mentioned before, a clean desk means you’re more productive and organized when it comes to studying. So, keep those pens and pencils from rolling around and falling on the floor all the time with a cute pencil holder. If you’re looking for a little creative project, make your own pencil holder to ensure that it matches your color scheme and theme perfectly. You can even make some unusual and unique pencil holders that will instantly gain you compliments from your friends.

Small Plant

It’s incredible how one small plant can change your study space into a more cheerful and comfortable place. House plants have been known to make people happier and clean the air you’re breathing. So, it would make sense to have a small plant on or near your study space if your goal is to make it more cheerful. If you don’t know if you can take on the responsibility of taking care of a plant and watering it every once in a while, you can always buy a succulent plant. They are the easiest plants to take care of!

It’s time to go old school and print out some of your favorite photos of your friends and family. Scroll through your Instagram and pick out a couple photos that bring you joy and remind you of great times. You can find fun frames for the photos to sit on your desk or hang them up on your bulletin or whiteboard. If you’re feeling really creative, you can hang your photos on a line of string lights or colorful string. These fun photos will help make your study space much more cheerful.
